Today New Orleans is celebrating its hometown heroes, the New Orleans Saints, with a special Saints parade running through downtown New Orleans and ending at Mardi Gras World. Blaine Kern Studios at Mardi Gras World is helping put together this special event estimated to attract a record crowd. For the first time, the famous signture floats from different krewes will come together in one parade. "Rex has a jester float. Zulu has a silver warrior float," said Barry Kern, President of Kern Studios. "Bacchus has their king's float that's going to come out. Endymion has its grand marshal float, which of course the Bensons (team owners) are riding on Saturday night." New Orleans is known for celebrating in a big way and we have plenty of reasons to celebrate. Not only are New Orleanians and tourists celebrating Mardi Gras Season, but the Saints Superbowl victory has given everyone even more reason to celebrate. Bourbon Street and the French Quarter was packed with fans wearing black and gold celebrating the win on Sunday into Monday morning. This has brought the city together and showcased the city in a positive light in the eyes of the country.  Those wishing to visit the city during this season can still reserve rooms at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel.
